But the problem is we are totally new to this field and building rc plane first time and don't have idea as how to make its frame, how to chose parts, how to chose engine, how to automate it using arduino for manuevers and other things.

First, the weight limit suggests a relatively small model which I would suggest is electric powered. Select a brand of components you like and which seem compatible with one another. You may simply want those which are easily obtainable in your area.It is carbon fiber rich, in the wings fuselage and the accessories.

Now towards our missions, we have FOUR missions in this competition.Designed to be as agile in the air as possible and streamlined to perfection, the raceplanes flown in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship are at the forefront of light aviation technology. Constructed to be as light as possible to ensure maximum speed, they also have to be extremely robust, and tolerate stressed of up to 10 times the force of gravity 10Gs.
These propeller-driven machines are highly manoeuvrable, pulling up into a vertical orientation at high speed with very little effort — something that even modern fighter jets can't match. In previous years, the race teams were allowed to modify their aircraft, but sincethe engines and propellers have been standardised for all teams.
Both the pilots and their teams have instead dedicated their efforts to perfecting airframe aerodynamics, as well as pilot skill and ability. The MXS-R represents the latest in state-of-the-art design and technology. The 'Edge beater', as it's been named due to being a worthy match for the Edgewas designed using advanced computer solid modelling with an emphasis on aerodynamic efficiency. As a result, it has already gained much respect in the racing arena and is considered a work of art among pilots due to its graceful, flowing lines.
What makes the MXS-R a stand-alone aircraft is that it is constructed entirely of aerospace-grade carbon fibre, which gives it superior strength and durability unlike any other.

The Edgemanufactured by Zivko Aeronautics, is as precise and controllable as it is aggressive. The small, one-seater aircraft is a favourite amongst Red Bull Air Race pilots, largely due to its fuselage. The computer optimised, steel tube frame makes the Edge an extremely light, very durable and easily repairable raceplane. Using an unconventional straight-edged wing, the Edge sparked much interest in flying circles around the world, particularly after Kirby Chambliss began using it for aerobatic competitions.
The aircraft has since evolved into the highly refined and technologically advanced version of the original prototype, with the radical wing now acknowledged as a pioneering feat of design. Over the last few seasons, a number of the pilots upgraded to the race-bespoke Edge V3. The V3 is different from the in various ways: It has an increased tolerance of G-loads. The body has been finely tuned to increase aerodynamics and reduce drag. Modifications range from a sleeker canopy design and improved exhaust, wing root and rear wheel fairings to enhanced winglets, shorter landing gear legs and upgraded cowlings.
For the Challenger Class raceplane will be the Edge V2. From the birth of the Challenger Cup, the pilots flew the two-seat Extra LX, sharing three Extras among them at each stop. Although the Extra did its job well, for the trio of raceplanes have been replaced with single-seat Edge V2s. There is plenty of room for a large 4 cell battery and the magnetic hatches for the battery compartment and receiver compartment are plenty strong. We at Motion RC have about flights on our test plane and find the flight characteristics absolutely amazing. We were able to perform all 3D maneuvers without problem.
This includes a hover, inverted, knife edge, 4 point turn, immelman, harrier, flat Spin, inverted flat spin, etc. Ventral pushover is good, no significant resistance. The Edge assumes hover without snapping. It will settle into a hover with plenty of rudder to still move laterally across the field if desired. The ailerons have plenty of throw to roll while in a hover. Slow flight is respectable. We were able to easily land at only 5 mph. There is plenty of power to climb out without any wag from the tail.
A roll to inverted flight is axial without dropping nose and inverted pushover doesn't rock the wings. The Motion pilots found an inverted snap roll to inverted flat spin is crisp but a little difficult to maintain if aileron expo is too high. We were able to perform a fast snap roll at 40 mph without any problems. Slow rolls are acceptable with minimal aileron expo. Circle course and figure 8 patterns are possible. Quick pinwheels in a wide circle are easy to maintain.
The prop and motor are matched well to the model's AUW, and the Edge flies well on the recommended Admiral 4S battery pushed all the way forward. The battery bay is huge and can easily fit up to a 4S battery but tail weight would be required which could significantly impact the 3D ability of this plane. Overall the Motion RC pilots loved this plane. The build of this plane was easy and very straight forward. All surfaces held together firmly and all screws aligned with their threaded surfaces.
The plastic to plastic joints were perfect and the carbon wing spar fits perfectly into its sleeve. The wing mounts overlap which makes the design very strong.
